Mark Robinson has been creating beautiful jewelry for more than forty years. When a third year student in college, Mark enrolled in a "Metal and Jewelry" course that sparked a life long passion for the art of jewelry making. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Franklin Pierce College in 1973, Mark established himself as a jeweler in New York City. Working at the jeweler's bench, highly motivated and self-taught, his goal was to produce and sell the finest jewelry available, without compromise. Started as a one-man business in a small loft in the Flatiron District in 1975, the business moved to the Diamond District in 1979 and established itself there. Always a jeweler with impeccable standards of quality, smart design and extreme attention to detail, he aligned himself with select clients, jewelry technicians and suppliers who thought the same. To this day, he oversees his Midtown East workshop in New York. The company currently employs supremely talented individuals; jewelers, precious stone setters, polishers, CAD designers and equally important quality control and office administrators. It is due to the skills, intellect and dedication of this team of professionals under Mark’s guidance that the business has succeeded. The clients of the company are prestigious companies of international renown, as well as the finest owner operated stores in the country. The jewelry produced is designed by Mark Robinson, as well as by the clients of the company or a collaboration between the two. A strict design confidentiality policy is practiced without exception. This is a "Carved in Stone" guarantee, never to be compromised.
The company produces individual jewelry items made to a specific design as well as production orders of higher quantities in platinum or 18k gold. Every item is produced to the same high quality standards, whether a production item or a unique individual piece.
All of the jewelry is produced in Mark Robinson's New York workshop. The gemstones used are responsibly sourced from established reputable suppliers.
